Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario
  • CPT-PTS (Certified Personal Trainer)

Experience:

 

  • 1 year as a kinesiologist
  • 2 years as a personal trainer
  • Breakthrough Bootcamp owner/instructor since September 2013

Philosophy:

I believe in positive reinforcement when it comes to exercise. The key to getting your health in check and attaining your ideal body is consistency and forming good habits. Everyone at Breakthrough Bootcamp is extremely supportive and encouraging to all new bootcampers. I believe that making the decision to change to a healthy lifestyle is commendable and courageous. With that being said, there is never any yelling or screaming at bootcampers who show up and give their effort.

Another important thing we try to do at Breakthrough Bootcamp is try to make exercise fun. We’re constantly changing up the workouts, and have different themed routines every day of the week.

I tremendously value everybody’s input, and am always looking for new ways to make Breakthrough Bootcamp more effective and enjoyable to all its members.

By setting new habits, having fun, and constantly change your routine, I guarantee that you’ll get in the best shape of your life AND have fun while doing it.

What I Wish More People Knew:

Committing to an exercise program really can be a life changing experience.

Biggest Fitness Myth:

Spot reduction. It is impossible to workout a specific body part and notice isolated fat loss in that area.
